SS Corwin enroute Wales to Diomede, 25 Jul 1908

Roy to his parents in Michigan. Gasoline boat Trader which they took from Nome ran aground at Wales. After it left them there, they took the SS Corwin from Wales to Diomede via Kotzebue and Cape Blossom.


Trader (power Schooner)
Capt. Alexander Allan, who had recently lost the gas schooner H. E. Dwyer in Kuskokwim River operation, repurchased a half interest in the power schooner Trader built by him in 1908, and reentered the Point Barrow trade. Gordon Newell, Maritime events of 1912, H.W.
